The economy in Nigeria has further deteriorated, and this development has affected the less privileged, as they are unable to afford health care for their families. But foundations like YELOTO are still touching lives.

BattaBox presenter Odunayo visits the Lagos University Teaching Hospital on Children’s Day to show us how Yeloto helps people.

On Children’s day, May 27 2016 the founder of YELOTO, Dr Oluyemi Olawaye went around wards at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital to identify patients who had special needs and solve them immediately.

“We are going to write a N100,000 ($285) cheque right now for this child,” Says Dr Olawaye “We don’t give it to the hospital, we give it to the patients at the point of need,” he continues.

Also present in one of the wards were the conjoined twins with their father who is seeking help on how to separate them.

“I need like N30 million ($85,000) for their separation,” says the father

YELOTO provides free finances and basic needs such as Health care, Nutrition and Education of less privileged children in Nigeria.
