Battabox presenter Adeola speaks to Philip Obin the Managing Director of Protech Limited who has manufactured a hybrid carburetor which allows you to run your regular generator on gas.
“Gas is safer and cheaper than petrol”
But this innovation would not work with some generators in Nigeria, like to famous “I better pass my neighbor generator” due to the fact that it needs engine oil mixed with petrol to function.
“There is no tank on the generator so you can’t say we’re hiding petrol somewhere,” says Mr Philip as he shows Adeola how it works.

This is not a new invention been using it for 2years now. Obtained the dual
carbs from an LPG company in china for $45 then. It does not only work on
propane gas but also works well on petrol and even consumed less petrol
than regular follow come carburetor. U can easily switch BTW petrol usage
to propane gas even while the engine is still running.
I’ve watched all batta Box video, But, I disagree with this one . What
board in Nigeria is responsible for the health and safety of Nigerian
citizen. Gas leak is very dangerous and it’s kills faster than anything.
You test something for 10days and you think it fit for purpose? Really?
