What Do Men Nigerian Carry In Their Backpack?

Men and young guys in Nigeria who carry backpacks, sometimes get harassed by the police thinking they are fraudsters (yahoo boys).But we wonder, why do men carry a backpack everywhere they go? And what exactly do they carry in it?

“I carry my charger, cream, perfume inside,” says one funny guy

BattaBox presenter Timothy stop a couple of men on the streets of Lagos to ask them and check for himself what they carry in the bag.

“Its used to carry my laptop,” says one guy

“I’m an engineer, i have my tools inside,” replies

Whenever there is a robbery, the Nigerian police sometimes conducts a stop and search routine, targeted mostly at men walking around with a backpacks,suspecting them to contain stolen items, in a bid to fight crime and arrest hoodlums.

“A police man once stopped me, and i had bread in my backpack,” recounts one guy
