What are the most common lies that Nigerian men will tell women? We find out…!
Whatever the reason for the lie, as we say in Nigeria – “Lie na Lie!” But there are many varieties and reasons for lying, so BattaBox Presenter YP hit the streets of Lagos, Nigeria to ask both men and women – what are the most common lies that men tell their girls?
“The most common lie by men is that they love someone,” says one young woman. “It’s not love, it’s lust.”
“Let me buy you this house, I can buy this car, let me buy you anything,” laughs one Nigerian guy.
“They always tell a lady that she is different from any other girl they have met,” says another young girl.
According to Nigerian women, the most common lies men tell involve love, money, relationships, and even time.
“If you ask a Nigerian man, are you in a relationship – they will always tell you no, they are not in a relationship,” says a Lagos trader.
