Centre for Citizens with Disabilities (CCD) is an NGO that aims to eradicate the stigma, educate, empower and create opportunities for Nigerians with disabilities.
CCD was established in 2002, and incorporated with the Corporate Affairs Commission. The organisation was founded as a result of David Anyaele’s (the founder of CCD) experience in the hands of the rebel warlords in the war-torn Sierra Leone who gruesomely amputated his two hands!
