Should Nigerians Go To Prison For Drilling Domestic Boreholes?

18 MILLION Lagosians do not have access to clean water.

So Nigerians have taken matters into their own hands by digging boreholes in their compounds in order to generate their own water; however, the Lagos State Government wants to ban the drilling of domestic boreholes without government authorisation (WATCH our ‘Nigerians: Do You Have Access To Clean Water’ video) and breach can lead to jail!!!

As you can imagine, Nigerians are not too pleased about this law so on World Water Day (March 22) BattaBox presenter, Kayode joined frustrated Nigerians as they marched in protest…

“We are going there! If you want to tear gas us again today you can do it!” one angry protester yells as she is prevented from entering Governor Ambode’s office.

“Our water our right!

Our water is our right!

Our water, our water, our water is our right!” they sing.

What do you think?

Is it right to ban Nigerians from providing their own water?

Thanks for watching!

I am glad to see people standing up against evil! Good job Kayode! Good job BattaBox for bringing this to light. When I first heard about this legislation few weeks ago, I was immediately appalled. There is no other plausible explanation for the law, besides the fact that there are people wanting to profit and wouldn’t mind seeing their fellow human being suffer in the process.

I hope this raising of public awareness doesn’t stop here. There ought to be more younger Nigerians participating in their own future. However, a whole lot of them are just too darn apathetic!

All the water that was on the earth since the beginning of time is still on the earth. There can never be a water shortage! We drink water and urinate it out. We boil water and it becomes water vapors, rise to the clouds and come back down as water. So dont listen to anyone talking about water shortage. There are Europeans white Jewish bankers behind the push to deny Nigerians water. This is not just a Nigerian problem but rather a global problem. Even in American one can’t drill for water on his own private property in many cases. One can’t even collect rain water on his own property in many areas. The international Jewish bankers that pull the strings behind the scene want to commoditize like water just like oil. Those who can afford it will get it and those who can’t will perish. It is important that Africans call out these nefarious white European Jews by name! Stop allowing these evil people to dictate Nigerian domestic policy. This nonsense about global water is just another way to tax people. If anyone discuss global water, please tell them to simply go away. His is some information on water politics.
