Police Brutality In Nigeria

Imagine waking up in the morning, checking your social media, going to your friend’s birthday party and suddenly a bunch of men barge into the room.

“Everybody hands up hands up!!”

Guns and handcuffs flying around!

“On your knees! Cuff them two two!” the men yell.

You don’t know what you have done.

You don’t know who they are.

The men aren’t in uniform, they hold no ID but they say they are policemen.

You are beaten, degraded – an experience you will never forget and then you and your friends are taken to the police station!

This is what happened to these young men and BattaBox couldn’t stand by and let their story go unheard, so Timothy headed to meet the young men to hear their side of the traumatic story.
