Battabox attended the just completed Kids & Teens With Outstanding Leadership Awards (KOLA) organized by Kola Initiatives in Abuja, where some talented and creative kids and teens in Nigeria were identified and awarded for their excellence.

“I’m feeling motivated,” says Timilehin Daomi

Battabox presenter Kayode spoke to some parents and their talented kids.

“I can’t remember when i started reading,” says Chinedu Angel Obi, a little girl who has read over 100 books.

One of the awardees was our very own Timilehin Daomi – Nigeria’s youngest inventor, who got recognized after being featured on Battabox.

“I feel on top of the world,” says Timilehin Daomi’s father

Timilehin Daomi mentioned during his acceptance speech that he was presently working on building a helicopter which got the crowd clapping and cheering.

We look foward to his future inventions and wish all the kids all the best in their future en-devours.

Among those awards, one or two were just appeasement. Let us be realistic
the inventor and the kid advocating for books stand out as true brilliance.
