Yagazie Emezie is a documentary photographer, part time Vlogger , Youtuber and Cartoonist based in Lagos Nigeria. Through her lens, she shows Nigeria and Africa in its true beauty.
“I create digital contents for people with my photography,” she tells Mary
Haven studied Culture Anthropology and African Studies in the university , she had worked with other African photographers before starting up full time in Nigeria.

Yagazie’s signature look is undoubtedly her amazingly beautiful natural hair, which she wears proudly . She also talks about how tames and cares for her hair.

Yagazie has almost 100,000 followers on Instagram, “My Instagram page is what gets me jobs,” she says and her plans for the future is for her work to grow beyond her current space.

Saw on Instagram as looking forward to this as Yagazie is a pretty
interesting person. Herself and others have got onto photo documentaries
and I have a lot of respect for that as due to something so simple as going
outside and recording what you see in Lagos can actually enlighten believe
or not. Change lives even.
