Traditional bone setting is a practice that could be found in every country and communities around the world. Before the white men came to Nigeria and introduced western medicine and doctors, people turned to traditional medicine when they were sick or in a crisis.

“I use my voice to heal bones,” says the bone setter

Battabox presenter Odunayo speaks to Prophet Samuel, a unique bone setter in Lagos, who uses his voice, sticks and a special balm to set broken bones.

“The sticks prevents the bone from shifting,”

Although there are many Orthopedic surgeons qualified to rehabilitate a person with broken bones back to health, but many still believe the traditional method is much more effective.

These guys are clueless. I know a guy who went to one of them and ended up
with a partially paralyzed leg. If he hadn’t experienced a miracle in his
leg, he would still be disabled. These traditional setters know nothing.
