Port Harcourt is one of Nigeria’s most visited cities both by Nigerians and foreigners.

However there doesn’t appear to be much to do in the capital and largest city of Rivers State.

So BattaBox decided to ask the people of Port Harcourt if there are any tourist attractions in Port Harcourt.

Here are some of their answers…

“When you call Port Harcourt town everybody knows.”

“Nothing. All attention is based in Lagos and Abuja.”

“In my secondary school we went on an excursion to Songhai Farm…that place is very nice.”

Have you been to any tourist attractions in Port Harcourt?

Port Harcourt is known for roasted plantain and smoked fish. Especially along stadium road. Mama Chioma’s “boli & fish” joint πŸ˜ŽπŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰β˜Ίβ˜ΊπŸ™„πŸ™„πŸ€”πŸ€”

They need a Kalabari or Okrika or Ibani cultural center where people could visit to read the history of the people .

Rivers state has beautiful beaches like Bonny, Kula, Opobo, Andoni.. Why do people call Lagos state and Abuja and turn around to call Port Harcourt instead of Rivers state ?

Love or should I call you stove, stop doing these videos with sarcasm, do your research. Rivers State is changing, as a presenter cant you input on the new pleasure park, the renovated civic center. See take your Battered Butt back to the overcrowded lagoon, or better still go n meet a sugar daddy n get Abused in Abuja.
