“Do you think every man that wears a suit is responsible?” Warri Pikin asks the people of Lagos.

Here are some of their interesting answers…

“Absolutely not. It is not the suit that makes a responsible person but what is inside a person…particularly in Nigeria.”

“As long as you’re putting on the suit you won’t want to disgrace yourself.”

“Suit has nothing to do with being responsible.”

“Some people go wear suit but they no get anything.”

“Suit na packaging now.”

What do you think?

Does wearing a suit mean a person is responsible?

If those lazy leaders in nigeria wear suit they might actually take their fingers off their back side and do something productive for a change, rather than looting nigeria.

If you like suits, do you. But I’m annoyed by the cache they have, when they are just one other form of dressing. Why do I have to spend a lot of money to wear something I don’t even like to look at, just so people will view me in a positive light? I especially don’t see the point of ties, except to choke you. If my clothes are clean and situation appropriate, I should be viewed in just as a positive a light as a man in a suit. I can’t imagine wearing suits in a hot place like Africa…
