BattaBox Jumia DIY Squad Reduced To Tears By Homeless Woman

Ayo-Bukky was one of the residents illegally evicted from the Otodo-Gbame community a couple of months ago.

The single mother had just given birth the same month that she lost her home and was forced to live in a makeshift tent with her newborn because she had nowhere to go!

BattaBox could not stand back and watch this young lady and her baby struggle to survive in such harsh living conditions so we teamed up with JUMIA to surprise Ayo with a brand new home!

Adeola took Ayo out for the day and to get her baby checked out by a paediatrician just to make sure their living conditions were not harmful to the child, while the BattaBox Jumia DIY Squad got busy renovating Ayo’s new home!

Freedom Foundation Nigeria (an NGO) housed Ayo temporarily and Covenant Christian Centre and a good friend of BattaBox paid for Ayo’s one room apartment while JUMIA provided home appliances + everything else Ayo would need to settle in to her new home.

JUMIA- – is the number one online shopping site in Nigeria where you can buy everything from electronics, home appliances, fashion items to groceries, automobile parts and much much more! And guess what??? You can have all these amazing items delivered directly to your doorstep!

If you know anyone that deserves a visit from the BattaBox Jumia DIY Squad, send a message to [email protected].

Thanks for watching!
