“I think of jollof rice…the war between Nigeria and Ghana,” a Nigerian woman responds.

“I think of our roommate, Francis,” two Canadian men reply.

“The word poverty comes to my mind but I could be wrong,” a Palestinian woman responds.

“I think of beautiful men,” a Columbian woman answers.

“Great dancers,” a young man from the Philippines.

“I think of green and white, family, unity, a lot of culture and a lot of pride,” a Jamaican woman replies.

What do YOU think of when you hear the word ‘Nigeria’?

    Scammers. But after going to university, and meeting different people, I
    realized that they’re different types of Nigerians. Even some Nigerians
    think their own people are scammers

    Did she say “Unitedness”. If I hear/think of Nigeria. I think of all the
    corrupt, stealing ass politicians who deserve to be killed/hung/decapitaed
    but are rather praised/exalted and held in high esteem by the equally dumb
    Nigerians. My 2 cents on Nigeria

    nigerian cuisine is lacking if the only thing we can make noise about is
    jollof rice. it’s good but it’s not that great to be hyping it like the
    national dish.

    even Senegalese that invented jollof don’t brag about it like that. if you
    taste other Senegalese food, you will understand why jollof is no big deal
    to them. their food is amazing, and probably some of the best in all of
    West Africa.
