We all know what cancer is and if you don’t, I’m sure you’ve heard the word ‘cancer’ in the past but…
How much do we really know about the deadly disease…
The different types of cancer, what causes them, what age group is usually affected, is it more common in males or females?
The St Cyril’s Cancer Treatment Foundation has stepped in to not only educate Nigerians but provide approximately 6000 treatments a year in radiation and chemotherapy for cancer patients, 50% of which are indigent and would have received minimal or no treatment at all if such foundations did not exist in Nigeria.
The Foundation has successfully managed to reduce the number of cancer deaths by providing well-equipped facilities and trained staff to provide chemotherapy and internal radiation therapy; additionally, St. Cyril also works closely with numerous cancer non profit organizations in Nigeria to ensure all patients sent their way receive adequate treatment to give them the best possible chance of survival and the healthiest, highest quality of life.

I am not Nigerian (unless my Ancestors came from there) but I do know quite
a bit about the different cultures there. What I can tell you is that the
good food that you guys eat is nourishing to the body. Fufu, egusi, yams,
pumpkin, okra….your diet consists of delicious and nutritious foods that
keep your bodies strong. Therefore, this might be a possibility as to why
cancer is not as popular as it is here in the United States.

To prevent ALL cancers, eat a plant based vegan diet – with emphasis on
alkaline producing foods like dark green leafy vegetables and other fruits
and vegetables. The food we eat will prevent disease and heal us or slowly
kill us. Africans should stop copying Western lifestyles and stop eating
