BattaBox loves Nigerian food – anywhere you can find it in the world – and we find it in some wonderful places. So we asked our Canada presenter to look for some Nigerian Suya in Toronto.
“My suya just arrived and I can’t wait to try it!” says BattaBox presenter Precious.
The Nigeria Suya joint is run by Taiwo Ajala in Toronto who is a great promoter of Nigerian food and wants it to become a household brand.
“I want suya to be as popular as jerk chicken and everyday we keep suya-ising people!” says Taiwo.
And from the reaction of all his customers on the day BattaBox visited – he’s well on his way!

what does regulations of canada have to do with showing someone how you
make and prepare your food i beg this guy just doesnt want anybody stealing

Mr Ajala, which kind regulation prevent Camera crew from filming in the
kitchen? Shows like You Gotta eat here and Drivers, Diners & Dines film in

Batta box Canada ehn una no sabi. you showed us a suya joint but never
mentioned the name of the place. Toronto is not two blocks so how can
anyone find the place. For those talking about not seeing the kitchen, she
is not allowed in the kitchen because she is not an employee nor is she
covered by the establishments insurance. if she walks into the kitchen and
gets hurt, she would sue. So better safe than sorry.
