Prosperity teaching, or prosperity gospel, is the teaching and belief that god can help people become rich if they pray and donate to the church. But not everyone agrees.
The saying goes – when you are poor, it means you lack faith – and, when a christian suffers, it means you have not been teaching about prosperity. It is a common theme in evangelical churches for born-again Christians.
“People in church nowadays, if you don’t have money, they will look at you as though you are a nobody,” says on your Nigerian man.
“For me, you need to preach and teach prosperity in churches, because without prosperity there’s no money,” says one Nigerian woman.

I am beginning to think Nigerians are either lazy, unintelligent or easily manipulated!
In the sense that instead of using their god-given ability to think for themselves, they would rather give that ability up and allow religion and so-called religious leaders and corrupt politicians, etc. to do all of their thinking for them.
