The Fashion Cookout brings beautiful dresses, shoes, designer bags, accessories and BBQ food & drinks together to be enjoyed in one venue, the rooftop of Mega Plaza.

So not only do you get to shop around the different stalls till you drop, whilst enjoying all the latest music, you and your friends also have the luxury of taking in the beautiful view of the city of Lagos at the same time.

BollyLomo, spent the day dancing with gorgeous women and chatting with celebrities like 2 Sec and Supadupafefe…

“Do you like it?” Bolly asked Supadupafefe.

“Yes I do, I’ve bought some stuff already…we’re here to have fun,” she said.

“What are you expecting today?” Bolly asked 2 sec.

“I came to support and buy something, see beautiful people and EAT,” one of the pair answered.

He also talked to some of the vendors on site to find out what they think about the Fashion Cookout platform and what they hope to achieve by the end of the day, in terms of sales.

“There are a lot of activities going on, so it’s good. The platform is attractive for customers to come,” one vendor said.

“What are you looking for by the end of the day?” Bolly asked a vendor selling lovely colourful dresses.

“Sales,” she answered promptly.

“Something like this is good because you want your product to be out there as much as possible,” a vendor barbecuing scrumptious chicken and fish said to Bolly, who struggled to keep his eyes off the grill.

He also asked an eager shopper what she thought of the set up.

“This platform gives vendors the opportunity to liaise with their customers, physically,” one young lady said.

“How is this different from the other cookouts you’re done before?” BollyLomo asked… the organiser of the event.

“We have new vendors, a bit more coverage…we have a runway theme, celebrity performances,” he answered.

The fun went on well into the night, with models strutting down the runway in one of a kind pieces and Supadupafefe jumping on stage to perform her latest music. All in all the event was a success and BattaBox hopes to attend many more Fashion Cookouts in the future.
