He’s known as “Small Artist” because he’s small – BattaBox goes to meet Nigeria’s amazing 11 year old artist – Kareem Waris.

Kareem Waris paints and draws famous Nigerian celebrities, musicians, and Nollywood actors. He also does special effects for Nigerian movies. He describes himself as a Bitty artist. He is supported by the Ayowole Art Vocational Academy.

“When Wole saw the boy and the lines he was drawing – we said he should join the academy.”

Kareem Waris started drawing at six years old, starting with comics and cartoons. His parents helped pay for the pencils and paper. Nowadays, he finds time to do his artwork after school and on the weekends.

BattaBox presenter then sits for a rough sketch, and after 40 minutes, Kareem Waris (aka WASPA!) finishes the amazing sketch. And on the walls of his home are some of his pencil drawings and sketches that can take weeks to finish.

Kareem Waris is till a young boy following his dreams and we can’t wait to see where he goes next! What do you think of his artwork drawings? Gist us in the comments.

Battabox what a selfish interview? You don’t need to be told to write this boy’s contact and address so that people will visit him for job or support him. You only interview him to get the views and YouTube check, do we need to beg you to add his contact? I want to draw my mum and girlfriend.
