BattaBox presenter Mary visits Vox Africa studios and speaks to Mrs Mojisola Bamtefa – the legendary Aunty Funke character from UK’s No 1 British African Sitcom – Meet The Adebanjos. She talks about her role and acting as a Nigerian woman in the Uk.

“It was very difficult to say i’d get a job in the UK because of my language,” she says

Having one of the most hilarious characters as aunty Funke on the show, she explains why her character is so funny and lively and how she manages to play the role so easily.

“I could see myself in the role,” she says ” I was just me, i was having fun,” she continues

Mary also asked Aunty Funke if she would pick a Louis Vuitton dress over Iro and Buba, and her reply was really hilarious.

“Who is Louis Vuitton,” she says angrily
