Okpa is a traditional Nigerian food common to the people of the eastern part of Nigeria, Enugu especially.
Today, we bring to you another episode of Food Arena and our presenter will be aided by Chineyen who hails from Enugu. Chineyen will be helping us with the preparation of Okpa from start to finish.
It is made with Bambara nuts/seeds which is then ground into a powdery state to make Bambara Flour. Other ingredients used in the making Okpa are the following:
* Bambara flour
* Palm oil
* Ground Crayfish
* Seasoning cubes
* Onion
* Ground Chili Pepper or Chopped Pepper
* Salt
* Hot water (preferably)
Okpa is best eaten hot and can be eaten cold too and it really tastes so delicious. It tastes like nothing you have ever eaten but it is nice.
Will you make okpa at your end? Let us know, like, share your views in the comment section below.

I can’t believe how yellow that food is, it’s as yellow as Warri’s shirt! Lovely community there. The women seem so warm and welcoming. I’d break bread with them any day.

People prefer this to the nonsensical “Nigerians do this or that” which is the same as all other nations. You do not even attempt to be original in the questioning style, this guy is original in his style; much like when the channel started.
