We took a journey to an amazing rabbit farm owned by one of the pioneers in Nigeria, Mr Leke Ilo and we got to learn new things. The Rabbit story was lead by one of our own, Warripikin, watch through.
Rabbit hitting in Nigeria isn’t a totally common practice here in Nigeria, so we decided to do this story to learn first hand and also to educate viewers on all that needs to be known about Rabbits, hopefully we can move to cover other forms of animal husbandry. Did you know that all parts of the rabbit as an animal is of no waste. They are said to be used for medicinal, cosmetics, pharmaceutical research purposes. Not leaving out fashion, as their skin and furs can be used to make garments, hats, boots, and their meat are also used for human consumption.
The rabbit farm owner, Mr Leke dished out a lot of information and showed us as much as possible to know, which also include that:
* how the rabbits socially interact with each other.
* how to crossing breeding of the rabbits.
* how it is been prepared too.
We moved on to his restaurant, Allen Buka in Lagos and we meet one of the worker, Mr Emmanuel. He also took us round and how the rabbit is been prepared for consumption.

Gosh, when they fried the rabbit in Palm oil it looked delicious. I’ve had rabbit before it tasted quite sweet actually. The English eat rabbit (hare) stew too.

Should we only eat ugly animals?? Which animals are ugly? IMHO god designed rabbits from the ground up as food. They are prey animals and many carnivores and omnivores readily eat rabbits.
If you eat this animal, then you are not different from a Dog, Pig Vulture, Hyena, Slug, & poop eater.
If you eat any animals (by that reasoning) then you are no different from a lion, tiger, snake, pig or any carnivorous (or omnivorous) animal …except of course that humans tend to COOK their meat before consumption.
