PRICE HIKE: Lagosians Complains and Pleads with the Nigeria Government

Lagosians are really complaining and airing their views about the current situation of price hike in Nigeria presently.

The issue of price hike has been a common thing in Nigeria whenever there is any form of scarcity, trend or pandemic at a region and time. These attitude by goods and services providers has been a really big issue. And during this current COVID-19 pandemic, the people have found it worst, unfortunately.

The federal government has laid lockdown orders in Lagos, Abuja, and Ogun state, simultaneously. And it has been noticed that other states of the country have been shutting down their borders and activated the lockdown too, as the COVID-19 viral infection spreads gradually.

The country has recorded a state of lockdown which has permitted people to stay at home with the absence of work. Therefore, income is really stagnant for some, and the purchase of goods in the market has become a lot harder with the prices shutting high every day.

What will the people do? How can the Nigerian Government tackle the issue of price hike?

Abba Kyari Burial Saga | True or False: Governmental policies are for poor masses and not the elite.

Just some days ago, Nigeria’s Presidential Chief of Staff, late Mallam Abba Kyari was buried at Gudu Cemetary, Abuja after being pronounced dead amidst contacting COVID-19.

Just 2 weeks from now, Lai Mohammed mentioned that no “COVID-19 Corpses” will be claimed for burial and this means no exemptions, right?

Why then was Mallam Abba Kyari’s Corpse returned for burial? Does it mean that the rules do not apply to top government officials?

During the burial of Late Mallam Abba Kyari, all attendees as shown on national tv and other platforms did not obey the social distance order. And this is the same order that the celebrity, Funke Akindele and her husband, JJC was punished for. They were charged to court, discharged with a bail and community service.

What message is the government passing in this light?

In today’s video, our presenter, Jumael discovered Kehinde, who is a henna artist. Kenny is a 27 years old artist, birthed in a family so gifted with twins that his mother gave birth to twins thrice. He has been surviving school through thick and thin but got to a point when he needed more money for survival, school projects, and many other things.

That, was when he discovered his given talent has an artist who had to practice the art of henna making. He has found his ground by perfecting this art and has been living with the money he makes through this art

Henna is a reddish-brown coloring which is made from a flowering plant that grows in the tropical and subtropical regions of Africa and Asia. Back in the days, till present, henna as been used by people to dye the skin, hair, fingernails, leather, silk, and wool.

The henna artistry has been practiced for thousands of years from Pakistan to Africa, from as long ago as the ancient Egyptians. The dark blue ink comes from henna leaves which have natural healing properties.

But Henna is mostly in this present day, done by the people of the Northern part of Nigeria. And it is also referred to as “Lali”.

Asun is a typical street food eating by majorly all regions of the country, Nigeria. Asun can be eaten anytime for sure but, mostly eaten as a delicacy made for the nightlife.

In this video, our presenter and guest on this show will show you how asun is made and the total recipe. Asun is made from roasted goat meat and after chopping to a small piece. It then becomes spiced and cooked.

The Asun recipe includes roasted goat meat, salt, fresh pepper, grounded pepper, seasoning cube, onion and any other thing you will like to spice it with.
