The days of just having talent is long gone. Teams are better organized,
coaches apply more effective tactics and the players are stronger, faster,
smarter and more skillful. Nigeria needs to take an extra step and prepare
better. A lot of the goals they conceded were so poor. They face many
struggles in preparing these players but I think all they need is a savvy
coach who has an eye on what’s going in other federations. That sort of
coach may help bring more success and maybe that will encourage more
investment in these ladies.
