What annoys you about your university? Is it the lecturers, accommodation, students…?

We asked students at Olabisi Onabanjo University the things about their university that make them angry.

“Wetin be that number one thing wey dey vex you for this school!”

Here are some of their answers…

“It’s too hot,” one guy tells Warri Pikin.

“So it’s the university that caused the sun?” Warri asks.

“Yes.”

LOL!

“The mode of transportation dey very very heartbreaking to me!” one man tells Warri Pikin.

“Person no fit bleach for this school,” one man describes how bad the heat is to Warri Pikin.

“The number one thing na stress…to withdraw your own money for bank gast go through stress!” a young man tells Warri Pikin.

How To Get A First Class Degree

Every student wants to get the best grades at university but apparently, in Nigeria, you might need more than hard work to get a first class degree.

So BattaBox decided to ask Nigerian students how to get a first class degree and how far they would go to get a first class.

Here are some of their answers…

“Some people do anything to get first class…they can sleep around with lecturers,” one girl tells Yp.

“It’s only the ladies that I think can get a first class,” a male student tells Yp.

“There are those people that live triangular life – church, class and school. There are some people way dey follow lecturer sleep. some nah to sneak and enter exam hall. Some pay money,” a student tells Yp.

“Some people have sex with lecturers…some people use rituals,” a lady explains.

So BattaBox sent Fluorin YP Olabisi Onabanjo University to find out – How to chat up a babe on campus.

Here are some of their interesting answers…

“It’s very simple. The first step is get Indomie noodles, make sure you have generator…give her money for bike. So when you invite her in give her Indomie and if you have Fanta or Coke you’re lucky…after that, the action is done,” one young lady confidently states.

“If don get car and you be Yahoo boy…they go wet straight,” a guy tells YP.

Should Men Be Paid More Than Women For Doing The Same Job?!

There is no country in the world where women are paid more than men.

To add insult to injury, in many parts of the world, men are paid more than women for doing the exact same job regardless of whether they have the same qualifications!

This happens in Nigeria, America, the United Kingdom, France, Germany……………..

So don’t think it’s a third world or ‘African’ thing. It’s a thing full stop.

Do you think the blatant gender pay gap is acceptable?

BattaBox’s Odunayo hit the streets of Lagos to find out whether Nigerians think it’s OK for men to be paid more than women for doing the same job.

Here are some of their interesting answers…

“She’s being cheated. So far she has the same qualifications…she’s being cheated,” one man states.

“If men can be the head of the home, I believe in any organisation men should also be the head and they should be paid above women,” one man says.

“I don’t feel the man should be paid higher. It should be equal,” another man says.

“We are equal so we deserve the best,” one lady answers.
