Adeola met with Mr Chukwuemeka Owunka, the CEO of Last Solution Services (an employment agency), to find out how he helps Nigerians find jobs, what employers are looking for…

She also hit the streets of Lagos to find from Nigerians whether they have jobs, how they are coping in the current economic climate…

“Unemployment is a serious thing in Nigeria. I think it has increased to 75%,” one man says.

“…getting employment will be very difficult because there’s no job,” another man says.

INCREDIBLE: Nigeria’s Miracle School

Omolade and Adetoro Sijuwade Memorial School AKA Miracle School is located in Ife.

It was given the nickname – Miracle School because it provides so much for the children. Not just an education but all the things that help make it a smooth process like food, books, school uniforms…

“The Lord said to me that I should build a school for poor children…I didn’t have any money, no land but I believed that that is what God wanted,” Mrs Jackie Adeola Oni says.

Odunayo also took a tour of the school and was thoroughly impressed.

OMG:Terrible State Of ONLY Grammar School In Wanikin Ile-Ife

Wanikin Grammar school is the only school in Wanikin community. They have no chairs or windows in their classrooms, shattered roofs, no walk way and overgrown weed everywhere. It is not in any way a decent environment to study in, but the children still come to school.

“Here we provide our own water, security and electricity, the government is totally not involved,” says Oba Kole Ojutalayo – Laroka of Wanikin Ife.

Battabox presenter Timothy visits Wanikin Community Grammar School in Ile Ife to see the impoverished state of the school and the environment itself.

“The classes are not good, and there are no chairs in the classrooms,” says one student

According to some of the people we spoke to in the community, the terrible state of the school was caused by the clash between the Ife and Modakeke people which caused mayhem in the two communities leading to destruction and loss of lives.

“Parents withdrew their children from the school during the Ife/Modakeke war,” says one man

Even some of parents themselves are not happy about the state of the school and are calling on the government and people to help revive the school.
