What’s funniest thing you’ve done to impress someone?!

Everyone has probably or obviously done something to impress someone you intend to show interest in. Tell us ooo if we are wrong

Frankly, someone somewhere or some how must have done something to impress you or vice versa.

So we took to the street to ask some people on Lagos street, what are the things they have done to impress someone, most especially the opposite sex. Funny enough, some fell for a prank during the process of our interview , and we got a lot of comments like:

“I do cook then take to school in excess then share it to everyone. And then I give it to the person I really want to take the food.”

Another person said, he also does some Chinese moves when he was young and he notices the girls say that he is strong. He then faces the bullies when the girls come to report to him, just to attract the girls Isn’t that crazy enough!!!

There is a time when you try to impress and it all does not work and there are times when you get lucky. there times when you tend to do too much and finally get on the wrong side. And there are also times when every move equals a step closer to winning.

So we will like to ask, what is the worst thing you have done to impress someone?

How many boyfriends can a Nigerian girl have is the street gist BattaBox heads out to ask the Nigeria dating scene – with some crazy replies!

The Nigeria dating scene appears to be extremely competitive for the Nigerian guys: “A girl can have as much as possible – two, five, six, or even more!”

But how do you manage so many boyfriends?

We also asked everyone to explain how they save the names on their phone: “ATM, Yam Leg, or the place where they met like Keke or Ajegunle,” said one Nigerian girl.

Often the boyfriends are save in the phone as the name of what they are needed for like recharge card, money, or hairdresser – which means they collect money for hair.

“Some of these women have lots of boyfriends for money, and they will save their names as shopkeeper or one chance,” laughed a young Nigerian man. “Or they will save them as a female name.”

Can you date or marry a guy that earns $100 monthly? This is the gist our BattaBox presenter asks people on the streets of Lagos – with some crazy answers!

Today’s Vox pop has been targeted at addressing and doing a survey considering the state of the economy if a lady can marry a guy who earns $100 which can barely take care of personal needs in comparison with when you are into a relationship with someone.

It is a known fact that we all want a good future for ourselves and spouse, so we headed out to know what people think about their spouse income. Could the income rate earned by your spouse be a determinant of whether the relationship will go on, be broken or even started if at all?

“I earn more than 50k, so I can’t even date someone that earns 50k”, someone said.

How To Add Spice To A Boring Relationship!

There are many reasons why relations with your partner might become boring, especially after many years. So BattaBox goes on the streets of Lagos, Nigeria to ask – what are the reasons a relationship might become boring, and how can you add some spice to get the spark back with your partner.

There appear to be many reasons a relationship becomes a bit stale and boring – including mis-understanding, a lack of passion and sex, or maybe even financial issues.

And Nigerians have plenty of solutions to add some spark into the relationship, including talking through the issues, playing pranks, spending some money on your partner, or even finding a “side-chick”!

“If the husband does not take care inside the house, inside the bedroom, then the relationship can become boring,” says on Lagos trader. “But women must also learn how to satisfy their husband.”

“Money! If the guy gives me money constantly, then the relationship will not be boring,” says one young Nigerian girl.

Ways we’ve found to spice up your relationship if it becomes boring include: give long hugs – physical contact, send love messages, be honest and tell your partner what you want, be unpredictable, get back to basics and go on a date, compliment your partner on their looks, be attentive!

Would You Give Your Bank OR Phone Password To Your Partner??

Your bank and your mobile phone are probably the most personal possessions a person owns – so, which would you give to your partner – your bank or your mobile phone password?

BattaBox presenter, Warri Pikin, hits the streets of Lagos, Nigeria to ask Nigerians if they would give their ATM code or mobile password to their boyfriend or girlfriend.

“I can only give my partner my mobile phone password,” says one young Nigerian woman. “Why would I give him my ATM card password – so he can withdraw money from my account behind my back? I trust nobody o.”

“If I tell my partner either of those two, then wahala dey o!” laughs a young trader.

“My mobile phone password – otherwise she will wreck me!” smiles one Nigerian man.

“I would have to give her my mobile phone password, not my ATM, because – yes I love my wife – but women are bad o!” says another Naija guy.

The challenge is to find out what is more important to Nigerians and what do they trust their partners with most. IF they give their ATM card – then maybe they are hiding some names and messages from other lovers on their phone. But if they give their mobile phone password, then maybe they don’t trust their partner with their money.

“If I give her my phone, the worst thing that can happen is she reads my messages and breaks up with me. But if she has my bank ATM card, she can wreck me!”

What If You Catch Your Partner CHEATING On You?

What do you do if you catch your partner cheating on you?

BattaBox wants to find out what exactly is cheating, and how would you punish your partner if you found out they were cheating on you.

“If you catch someone cheating on you – they can be stoned to death if you are married, if you are not married then they should be caned,” says one young Nigerian man. “That’s what my religion says.”

“If you cheat and have an affair on your partner, the punishment should be castration,” exclaims a young Nigerian woman.

Cheating or having an affair is described as being sexually unfaithful in your relationship. And many Nigerians appear to agree as almost everyone (but not all o!) said that even a small kiss on the lips should be considered cheating on your husband or wife.

“Holding hands or kissing on the cheek is fine, but mouth to mouth with someone’s wife is cheating, and can cause you to come to blows with the other man,” explains a Nigerian business man BattaBox asked in Lagos.

But BattaBox wanted to really explore the theme of cheating in Nigeria, and so also asked if people, if they don’t catch their husband or wife with the other person, would they want to know, or if they were cheating – would they tell?!

“No, you shhould not tell your partner if you cheat on them – it’s not easy – and not everyone can take it,” laughs on Nigerian lady. “for example, like me, I don’t want to hear it, speaking from my own experience. What I don’t know, won’t kill me.”

“If you cheat on your partner just once, if it’s not a constant thing, then fine – it’s easy to forgive and forget,” says one Lagos guy.

“If you trust them, maybe you can trust them to tell them,” says one girl.

But what happens if you find out that your partner cheats on you with someone else? What should be their punishment?

“You can go on a break, for a few months, and then you can maybe try it again,” says a Nigerian man.

“I would not pick her call,” says one man. “You can end the relationship.”
