To celebrate children’s day today, Lagos Mums in conjunction with BattaBox ask children what they would like to become in the future and also watch them role play their passion.

“A police man, because they have guns,”says 7 years old Seyi

The children spent the day at a Mindscapes Children’s Museum In Lagos, where they were able to explore, role play, get creative and learn at the same time.

Interestingly, the children didn’t just know what they wanted to be, they had a broad knowledge of how the job is done and what it entails…

“Put your card in the ATM…,” explains 8 years old Temitope who role plays as a banker as she teaches how to use an ATM machine.

Although some were torn between professions – “Being a doctor is too hard,”replies Tari

The love of money they say, is the root of all evil, but everyone loves money. What if money is given to you on a platter, but on the condition that you slap your mother, what would you do?

“If she says i should do it, i would,” says one guy

BattaBox presenter Odunayo asks people in Lagos – Would you slap your mother for $20,000,000? You would be surprised by the replies we got.

“Its better for me to slap her than to use her for money ritual,” replies one lady

It was interesting to see the amount of people who love their mothers and would never do slap her, irrespective of how much they are being offered.

“No, i won’t want a curse on my head,” two men concluded

In Yoruba land, slapping your mother is seen as a taboo and a child could be cursed for life for doing such.

But some saw it as an opportunity and believed their mother would forget the slap once she gets spoiled with money.

“I’ll buy a land for my mother with the money,” says one guy
