“Babatunde is a visually impaired engineer who can repair any electronic gadget,” Odunayo says.

Here is his story…

“How did you cope in school?”

“There’s no way I can grab everything but my friends, they be of great help to me.”

Odun then goes on to ask when he discovered he was losing his sight.

“I was in the exam hall, I just discovered that I can’t read the question paper again. Everything was just blank,” he explains to Odunayo.

Wow!

BattaBox presenter Adeola visits Babatunde Lawal at his house which he’s turned into a workshop where he makes his shoes. He talks about his accident and how he’s struggling to survive as a handicapped person in Lagos.

“They beat me, shot me, robbed me and dropped me by the roadside,” says Babatunde as he recounts his ordeal.

Adeola also spoke to his mother, who had some really good things to say about him and attitude towards work.

“He’s not a lazy boy, he’s very hardworking,” says his Mother

Although Babatunde is soliciting for help from good Samaritans so he can go for his operation, but he also hops to own his own business in the future.

“My aim is to own my own business, but i can’t raise money for it,” says Babatunde
