My own approach is this. We both have separate accounts for individual needs and also have a joint account where we both transfer a percentage of our income for the family upkeep.

Dont understand..if you are in a relationship of course not, but if married with children the household and income has to be equaly shared for the childrens benefit..she can go shopping with the creditcard but first the important things have to be payed..

I tell him how much I have but I don’t tender it to him , I support with the bills . I have my own plans too you know , I give my siblings , buy stuff for myself ,my friends etc plus I have my own savings that also comes to the rescue .

You dey craze? Me, that went to school to train myself and then get a good job will give a whole man my whole income? Not even my parents have the same bank, how much more me. But I do believe in splitting household cost 50/50. No man should be responsible for all the bills in the house.
