its just the way the child sees it….if the child is brought up in Africa,
the child will know you are correcting him….but in foreign countries its
different

Restrained use of spanking is totally appropriate, but the overuse of it
has diminishing returns….

There is nothing wrong in spanking your child as long as you don’t go too
far.
Here in Spain where I live the kids are very spoilt, having no respect for
their elders, insulting their parents and much more. In Nigeria where I
come from, the kids are much more disciplined though there are some that
are not but at least you hardly find one who isn’t.

Spanking is only effective if they understand what they did wrong. They
have to be older to understand. Inflicting pain isnt that good of a
teacher. Communicating is a better way to teach someone the right and wrong
ways to act. Hitting people is not something you want your child to do, so
dont hit on your child. Its a bad example.
