I watched palm oil production in villages in south south Nigeria. There was no leg/foot business in it. The palm fruit was crushed with a mortar and pestle or some machine for the purpose. No dirty feet or dirty wells. Big barrels or containers were used. The process is different. The method shown in this video is disgusting!

Odunayo, try and find well established palm oil production in the city instead of this locally made. Just ordinary blender will crush all the fruits and they can use strainer to get the palm oil. Too much of processing time wasting.

Wow this is a very labour intensive process , the feet thing didn’t bother me because wine is made in the same way in some vineyards, it’s nice to see the different ways to make things especially if it’s similar to the original ways 🙂
