The “superstitions” some people are talking about in this interview are not all “random” as the interviewer suggests. They belong to a philosophical / spiritual system that many may no longer understand or hold a valuable. The remnants of those systems of belief in current/modern society get labeled as “superstition”. Which is an inaccurate description.

Christianity & Islam are also based on superstition..church people believe in the usefulness of "holy oil" e.t.c..Muslims believe in killing for "Allah, e.t.c....so long it hurts no one, it's fine; life goes on.
